You have the option to disable household aging in the game menu, which means your pets will not age if this setting is turned off. If you prefer a shorter lifespan for your pets, you can choose a setting where kittens will age up in approximately 1.5 in-game days, while adults will take around 12 in-game days to age up. On the default or “normal” lifespan setting, kittens will take about 3 in-game days to reach adulthood, while adult pets will age up after approximately 24 in-game days.
